PewDiePie has claimed that he was evicted from his rented home because his landlord allegedly thought he was making a gay sex tape.

The YouTube star, who has over 45 million followers, caused a stir when he was shooting a clip in his living that wasn’t soundproofed.

The noise caused a complaint to be made, just days later he was given his notice to vacate the Brighton property.

“I made a video, landlord thought I was having gay sex. Next day evicted w/o previous notice,” PewDiePie, whose real name is Felix Kjelberg, tweeted.

PewDiePie’s success has largely come from him making videos of himself playing video games with OTT commentary, and he had thought about lodging a complaint against the eviction.

PewDiePie stated that he wouldn’t be taking further action

“Was planning to fight against the situation, but honestly happy to just move far away from that guy,” he explained.

PewDiePie, 26, later joked: “The good news in all this, is that I’m clearly qualified to be casted for sound bites in gay porn.”

In one clip, posted onto YouTube which has been viewed over 6.5 million times, PewDiePie can be heard saying: “I could buy this house, I don’t need you,” in a comment aimed at his landlord.

He also tweeted: “To be clear: I made a video, landlord thought I was having gay sex. Comes down to call us f****s. Next day evicted w/o previous notice.”
