A College of William and Mary researcher was indicted on four counts of possession of child porn.

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WVEC) — A professor at the College of William & Mary was indicted on child pornography charges Wednesday.

46-year-old Michael D. Wilson, of Richmond, Va., was arrested in February on four felony counts of possession of child pornography.

The college confirmed in February that Wilson worked at the Center for Conservation Biology.

Following his arrest, Wilson was placed on administrative leave and was prohibited from being on campus. It is unclear if he still works at the school.

A trial date has been set for October 5.
